Trinidad, California, June 2010
We were up on the Northern California coast shooting the coastline and redwoods from June 11th - 14th, 2010. We were hoping to shoot rhotadendrums around the redwoods, but unfortunately due to inclement weather a couple weeks ago, the blooms were destroyed. We still managed a few. We got some good fog/mist shots, IR images, and a bonus was the Avenue of the Giants for many tall coastal redwoods. Special thanks to our host, Michael Mann, for his hospitality. We were fortunate to get some fairly close images of the resident Roosevelt Elk, and some stellar Macros of local flowers.
