Storm Chasing in the Desert Southwest

My friend Scott asked me a couple weeks before Labor Day whether I was interested in doing some storm chasing to try to capture some lightning images or whatever else we could find in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. Over the course of the next couple weeks, two more friends, CW and Barry, decided to join us. Our first morning of reflections of the Pinnacles outside of Sedona was outstanding as were all our sunrise/sunset opportunities at the Southern rim of the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend outside of Page Arizona, and the Totems and Mittens at Monument Valley. The B&W images are mostly Infrared images from the Grand Canyon and the Canyon De Shelley. All in all a very productive weekend... All about the right place and time!!!
