Eastern Sierras and Yosemite October 2010

Our mission this weekend was to go to the Sierras to photograph star trails and astral images due to the moonless nights, and to shoot sunrises and sunsets at Mono Lake (Sunrise from Black Point), the Great Basin Bristle Cone Pines above Bishop, CA in the White Mountains (sunset and astral/star trails), North Lake (just after sunrise), Glacier point sunset and astral and star trails, and sunrise in Cook's meadow of my favorite Black Elm tree in the mist with sunbeams. Lots of driving, but a fun weekend with Curt, Carol, Ron and Ray.
