Africa 2012
This trip started on March 6th, in Johennesburg, South Africa. I Went to the Lion Park to play with cubs and walk with and pet a cheetah. Then a day in Alexandria Township with friends Rob & Sharell Katibah to learn about the people and culture with an inspiring historian and philanthropist, Robin Binckes. A very eye opening experience!!! Then we joined our group (Led by pro wildlife photographer Roy Toft) for three camps in Botswana (Kwara, Labala, Lagoon), and finally my friend, Curt Fargo, and I were fortunate enough to go to Mala Mala for 5 days ( a private reserve attached to Kruger National Park in South Africa). Lots of excitement and astonishment, from videoing Dung beetles, to watching Leopards mate and fight, and finally Curt dealing with me driving on the wrong side of the road... We met some really nice folks and enhanced friendships. Once again, Africa didn't disappoint... A magical place!!! Can't wait for my next visit!!!
